Joining Uptown Block Watch is Simple.  Here's How it Works:

UptownBlockWatch.com is an online tool to connect Uptown residents who live in close proximity to each other.  It's up to each block how they decide to use the tool, but several ideas might be: Using the bulletin board to inform neighbors of vandalism or break-ins - Scheduling a neighborhood block party - Notifying neighbors of suspicious activity

By registering your block, you will be provided with your own "Block Site" that only those registered for your block will have access to.  
What you need to register:
  1. A Block Captain
  2. Information from participating residents on your block

Why should you register your block?
  1. Provides an easy way to communicate with your neighbors
  2. Keeps your block informed about events and issues

What do you get?
  1. A private website for your block, including a calendar, bulletin board, and contact directory
  2. The ability to stay better connected to your neighbors
